Is WARDOGS fixed yet? Live server status, player count and launch recovery
<!--STATUS--> Still recovering / not fully resolved. Live count 257,947 as of 22:36 UK 10 Sep, session peak 333,482. If the number is high and holding and the Steam forum top threads are no longer about queues, you should be able to get in. During launch night (10 Sep) it was not resolved. <!--/STATUS-->
Live player count
<!--LIVE--> Live: 257,947 players in-game as of 22:36 UK, 10 Sep (Steam Web API). Session peak so far: 333,482 (19:05 on 09-10). The open beta peaked around 245,000, so WARDOGS is above its beta peak. <!--/LIVE-->
Is it fixed? How to tell
WARDOGS servers have recovered when all of these are true:
- Player count is high and steady (not crashing down as people give up).
- No fresh queue/"can't join" threads at the top of the Steam forum.
- You can clear the login screen and join a match on the first or second try.
During launch night none of these held. This page updates as that changes.
BULKHEAD's launch-night timeline (all UTC)
- 4pm: "thousands in the login queue, slowly filtering in. Response much larger than the beta. Some players put to the back of the queue, apologies."
- 5pm: "rate limited, working with Valve directly to bring our rate limit in line with larger titles."
- 6pm: "more players starting to filter into matches, in-server numbers increasing as the queue is processed."
- 7pm: "Clean Slate: restarting servers, players in servers will be logged out, due to an issue that wasn't present in the beta."
What to do meanwhile
Nothing at your end fixes a server-capacity problem. Don't reinstall, verify, change settings or reboot to "fix" it; each throws you back through the login queue. Leave it and come back when the count is steady. Full breakdown on the can't-join-server page.

FAQ
Is WARDOGS working now?
Check the live player count below and the status line. If the count is high and steady with no queue reports, servers have recovered. During launch night (10 Sep) they had not.
When will WARDOGS servers be fixed?
BULKHEAD is adding capacity and working with Valve on the login rate limit. Launch-night capacity crunches like this usually clear within 24-72 hours.
Do I need to redownload WARDOGS?
No client patch was queued on launch night; the "clean slate" fixes were server-side. If a real update lands, Steam queues it automatically.
