WARDOGS maps and modes at launch: Bakurani, Ozeti, Zestafona

Updated 2026-09-09 · Gameplay

Launch ships three maps, three variants each, and one mode: a three-team King of the Hill where you hold the control zone until your team reaches 100 points. Kills, captures and support actions pay cash; cash buys weapons, vehicles and building materials at the base. Everything is destructible enough that the map you start on isn't the map you finish on.

The maps

MapCharacterWhat matters
BakuraniOpen terrain, long sightlines, a town at the centreVehicles and long-range weapons dominate; infantry lives in the buildings
OzetiDenser, more built-up, tighter approachesBuilding and demolition decide it; helicopters are exposed
ZestafonaIndustrial, verticality, mixed rangesRooftops and cranes; the zone moves through interiors

Each has three variations that shift the control-zone position and the spawn layout, so the same map plays differently across a night.

The mode: three-team King of the Hill

Cash and loadouts

You earn cash for kills, captures, assists, revives, repairs and teamplay. Spend it at base on:

Dying with expensive kit is the cost; the game rewards spending on the squad, not on yourself.

Destruction and building

Walls, floors and cover break under fire and explosives. Teams that fortify the zone force the other two to spend cash and time knocking it down. By the second half of a match the town in the zone is usually rubble, which favours vehicles and long guns again.

What's coming

BULKHEAD's stated Early Access plan is 12–24 months with maps, modes, weapons and vehicles as free updates. Nothing dated beyond "more control for server owners over time" and a live-admin RCON tool for community servers.
